Bio

I am a film and theatre actor with over 14 years of experience nationally and internationally, having worked in more than 30 feature films. I graduated in Fine Arts and I have also made a mark as a professional Animator and Visual Designer.

I received critical acclaim for my roles in films such as Ozhivu Divasathe Kali, Munroe Island, Njan Steve Lopez, Action Hero Biju, Idam, Udaharanam Sujatha, Charles Enterprises, Aandaal, Family, etc., to name a few. These performances earned nominations at prestigious film festivals and have garnered both commercial success and critical recognition.

My work has been showcased at numerous international film festivals, including the International Film Festival of Rotterdam (IFFR), International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, New Jersey International Film Festival, Lake City International Festival, and the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival, among others.

In the realm of theatre, I have collaborated with distinguished stage directors and have engaged with a diverse range of theatrical methodologies, including physical theatre, clown theatre, street theatre, classical theatre, and experimental theatre.

My tenure with Abhinaya Theatre and Research Center spanned over four years, during which I performed in notable productions such as Macbeth, Invisible Cities, Pacha, etc. As a freelance actor, I have participated in international projects like Las Indias and Tsunami Express, directed by Elias Cohen from Chile, Once Upon a Time by Francoise Calvel from France, Automatarium directed by David Berga from Spain, Saree Rosa directed by Alexandra from Chile, and Bus directed by Firos Khan from India. These works have been showcased at esteemed international theatre festivals, including the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards, the International Theatre Festival of Kerala, and the New Performance Festival organized by the India Foundation for the Arts.

Currently, I am passionately exploring the integration of devised performance methods to develop my unique style. My background in visual arts and performing arts fuels my curiosity to investigate their intersection. With formal training in Kathak and Odissi dance, I am eager to explore these traditional forms in innovative ways that transcend conventional boundaries. Additionally, I have led numerous theatre workshops for both children and adults, further enriching my engagement with the arts.
