My journey began in 2007 as a Junior Roto Artist and later as a Junior Compositor at Prasad EFX in Chennai, where I contributed to major projects like Narnia-2, Goal, and Dasavatharam. Since then, I have held various roles across prestigious institutions in India. After serving as a mentor at Digital Magic, Chennai, I transitioned into education, taking on a senior faculty position in VFX at Arena Animation, Kozhikode.
Later, I worked as a VFX Artist and Mentor at Clusters College for Media and Design, Kozhikode, where I specialized in Foundry Nuke. Subsequently, at Arena Animation and Davinci Media College, I taught courses in VFX, Motion Graphics, and VFX Post-production, while also serving as a creative advisor and VFX supervisor for commercials and films.
In 2014, I joined INurture Education Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), overseeing syllabus development, faculty training, content creation, and placement support for the Animation & VFX departments of 12 universities across India, including Jain University.
Additionally, I have collaborated with the State Institute of Education Technology (SIET) in Kerala to conduct student awareness programs and special sessions for gifted students. I have also served as a member of the Board of Examinations (BOE) and Board of Studies (BOS), evaluating animation and VFX projects for SIET.
I served as an Associate Professor in the Animation & VFX Department at the KR Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science & Arts, Kottayam, where I was Head of the Department from 2018 to 2022. As Head of Tutorials, I led syllabus development, teaching methodologies, and faculty coordination, while offering courses in VFX, Motion Graphics, and Post-production.
At ASOMSAFT, my goal is to continue integrating education with industry practice, ensuring that my students are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the creative world.
