Hailing from Palakkad, my introduction to world cinema came from an earlier generation of film enthusiasts in Palakkad, which sparked my fascination with storytelling and my desire to become a filmmaker myself.

After graduating in mechanical engineering, I began assisting in short films and projects for film school students, which ignited my love for directing. This passion took me to the Direction and Screenwriting program at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune.

Upon completing the course, I moved to Mumbai and worked as an assistant writer and assistant director on several films. In 2022, I began working with Payal Kapadia on her acclaimed feature film All We Imagine As Light as Associate Director and Malayalam dialogue writer. The film went on to win the Grand Prix at Cannes Film Festival 2024, one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals.
