Our diploma program in Screenwriting is a comprehensive residential program designed to prepare students for the growing opportunities to write across a variety of genres in film, television, and digital streaming industries. Continuous writing is a defining feature of our course culture with active mentoring from faculty, apart from close study of narrative literature and curated world cinema. The program is interspersed with workshops and industry events featuring influential writers and filmmakers from various sectors of the film industry.

- Helps aspiring writers discover their unique voice, sharpen intuition, and develop skills needed to craft both their own original stories and adapt others.
- Exploration of Virtual Production and emerging technologies in the context of screenwriting, focusing on how these innovations can enhance storytelling and script development
- Visiting experts include noted screenwriters PF Mathews and S. Hareesh, who will offer script mentoring
- Pitching sessions with noted producers from Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi industries and the Independent circuit
- Workshops and industry events with noted screenwriters, writer-directors, producers, acquisition managers, film buyers and festival programmers
- Opportunities to script short films, documentaries, animation films and narrative projects produced under the home banner
You will be directly mentored by screenwriters and filmmakers Robin Joy and Abhilash Vijayan. Additionally, our teaching faculty includes industry insiders such as screenwriters, directors, cinematographers, editors, art directors, sound designers, animators, immersive reality specialists, AR and VR experts, and AI media practitioners, who will collaborate with you on select projects.
