Screenwriting

At the heart of every actor lies a memory—their first performance, often unrecognized. Maybe it was playing a hero in the backyard, mimicking a movie scene, or becoming someone else in a Pretend Play. That wasn’t just play. That was the actor being born. At Ahalia, we honour those beginnings and believe that what starts with instinct must evolve through training.

Our vision is to guide actors on that path—from raw impulse to refined screen performance. The Advanced Screen Acting Diploma and Weekend Certificate Program are designed for passionate performers who seek serious, craft-based training. Taught by working, professionally trained actors, this program is the only short-term, fully residential acting course of its kind in India—integrated with departments such as direction, virtual production, animation, and more.

We envision producing emotionally intelligent, technically skilled, and culturally rooted actors who can work confidently across languages and platforms—be it cinema, OTT, advertising, or digital media. Actors who not only perform but also think, reflect, and contribute to the storytelling process. This program doesn’t just ask, “How do you act?”—it helps you answer, “Who am I as an actor?” Our aim is to shape artists who are ready for the demands of today’s industry and are equipped to lead the cinema of tomorrow.
